It is almost something of a cliche, but Morzine is every bit as lively in the summer as it is in winter, and not just because is just a short hop from the glassy-calm of lake Geneva (waterskiing and wakeboarding nirvana, and we have a boat!) or the high-alpine of Mont Blanc. Morzine itself has a world-class reputation for mountain biking (both the "extreme downhill" or just "pootling about" variety), a selection of golf courses, outdoor swimming pools, tennis courts, outbound trails, skate parks, horse-riding, canyoning, fishing...it's exhausting just listing it all... and of course the simple pleasures of wandering across the pure, unspoilt landscape. It's no wonder that more and more people are discovering the joys of a summer alpine holiday.

You'll enjoy the same personal service from us in summer as in winter. We constantly evangelise about the joys of long lazy days around the lakes, or a crusty baguette and chunk of brie following a hike up one of the local hills. Kit keeps telling me how far he can drive a golf ball at 1500m above sea level, but I'm yet to see the evidence as I prefer to be meandering amongst the shops on my way to a crisp glass of rose.
